The Rheumatology Unit has outpatient services distributed in Lund and Malmö. Our patients come to the outpatient clinic for doctor visits, nurse visits, infusions, or rehabilitation visits, as well as complementary examinations by nursing assistants. In our infusion unit, we provide several different intravenous treatments. We conduct both regional healthcare and highly specialized care for patients with rheumatological diseases.

At our clinic, the patient is always at the center. As a nurse, you will work closely with doctors regarding the patient. The Rheumatology Clinic is a research-intensive unit with several ongoing research projects. Modern rheumatological treatments have recently significantly improved patients' prognosis, and many patients are now managed through the rheumatologist's outpatient services.

Development is constantly ongoing regarding both medical treatment and rehabilitation efforts. Internal and external training in rheumatology is offered regularly.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a nurse to join us at the Rheumatology Clinic. We focus on diagnosis-oriented nurse clinics where you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and follow your patient groups with specific diagnoses. In addition to medication follow-ups and care in rheumatology, you will work with the entire team on healthy lifestyle habits. Counseling is a significant part of the job and is conducted both via phone and 1177.

Patients come to the nurse clinic for informational conversations about new medications and follow-ups on diagnosis and treatment. For those interested in research, there is a great opportunity to participate in various research projects. As a new employee, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required for the position. We prefer that you have at least two years of experience as a nurse. Good knowledge of English is also an advantage. Experience in outpatient work and counseling via phone or 1177 is also meritorious.
